Our story
Local plumbers who pick up the phone
Alabama Plumbing Services, LLC is a family-owned plumbing company based on Hudson Avenue in Bessemer, founded as an LLC in 2021. Owner Shawn Bice and his team bring 30+ years of combined hands-on plumbing experience to every job – from a running toilet to a new water line or a commercial kitchen that has to reopen tonight.
We built the company on the things people told us they missed from other plumbers: someone who answers the phone at any hour, shows up when promised, explains the problem in plain words, gives a price before the work starts and leaves the house clean. That is still how we work today, and it is why most of our customers find us through a neighbor’s recommendation or our Google reviews.
Today our crew serves homes and businesses from Bessemer, Hueytown and McCalla to Hoover, Vance, Tuscaloosa and Northport.
“Treat every home like it’s your own – show up on time, fix it right and clean up before you leave.”

In our customers’ words
Trent did an amazing job. He explained everything enough that I understood what was going on. It was an emergency I was panicking but Trent was so calm.
The service I received was nothing short of amazing! When a well none company canceled on me at the last minute, I was frantic because of the urgency of my plumbing issue. I chose this company strictly off Google reviews and I’m so thankful that I did.
My hot water tank went out and I called and spoke with Shawn. 24 hrs I had a brand new tank. They were so nice, professional and quick. Gave me such a piece of mind. I would definitely use them again in the future. Thanks again!
